When it came time to source cover design for my debut romance novel, I had several trusted services to choose from that I’d used for other books in various genres.
One name stood out, based on previous experience. ‘The Cover Collection‘ re-designed four covers on some of my older novels last year. I found them superb. Multiple typography draft choices, included promotional artwork, competitive pricing, and an excellent turnaround time with great communication; a star outfit.
Previously, I worked with Debbie and was delighted to do so again. The firm offer pre-mades as well as custom artwork built from the ground up. While writing ‘Through Sally’s Eyes,’ I spotted an unsold pre-made they’d built which fit the bill. The whole look of the glamour model (including smoky jade eyes), plus a sea of flowers making a decent approximation for Purple Loosestrife, proved a winner. This iconic plant becomes poignant towards the novel’s climax. The image composition might as well have been made to order. A happy coincidence Sally Reece would describe as a synchronicity, in the book.
I’m thrilled with the results for both versions: Kindle and Paperback.
Cracking job, Debbie!
